1. Service Description

WellCovered is an insurance information and education service. We help you understand what coverage you already have, identify gaps, and decide whether to purchase additional coverage before a trip or event.

WellCovered is not a licensed insurance broker, agent, or advisor. We do not sell insurance policies, bind coverage, or make coverage determinations. Our analysis is for informational and educational purposes only.

2. How It Works

You can use WellCovered by:

  • Forwarding a booking confirmation email to ask@wellcovered.ai
  • Entering trip details manually on our website
  • Chatting with our AI assistant about your coverage

We analyze your trip details against publicly available credit card benefit guides and insurance policy information to generate a coverage brief.

3. Account & Authentication

Your email address is your account identifier. We do not use passwords. Authentication is handled via magic links — secure, time-limited URLs sent to your email address.

4. Data We Collect

We collect and store:

  • Email address and phone number — your account identifiers
  • Trip and booking details — destinations, dates, costs, and booking information
  • Insurance policies and credit card benefits — coverage sources you tell us about
  • Household member information — names and relationships for family coverage analysis
  • Conversation and chat history — messages with our AI assistant
  • Coverage analysis results — briefs, recommendations, and gap assessments
  • Interaction data — clicks, page views, and feature usage
  • Forwarded emails and attachments — booking confirmations and policy documents you send us

5. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Provide coverage analysis, alerts, and personalized recommendations
  • Improve and develop our services
  • Create, use, sell, and license anonymized, aggregate market intelligence and industry insights
  • Detect fraud and ensure security
  • Comply with legal obligations

6. Third-Party Services

We use industry-standard third-party services for AI processing, data storage, email delivery, session management, hosting, and service monitoring. These providers are bound by data processing agreements and only access your data as necessary to operate WellCovered.

7. Affiliate Disclosure

When our analysis identifies coverage gaps, we may provide links to insurance comparison services. WellCovered may receive a referral fee or commission if you purchase a policy through these links. This does not affect our analysis — “you don't need to buy anything” is a first-class outcome, not a failure.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, analysis, recommendations, models, and technology generated by or underlying WellCovered are our intellectual property. You may use outputs for personal, non-commercial purposes. WellCovered reserves the right to license its technology, models, and aggregated insights to third parties.

9. Limitation of Liability

WellCovered provides insurance information for educational purposes only — not licensed advice. Your actual coverage is determined by your policy documents. Contact your carrier or a licensed professional before making decisions. WellCovered may earn a referral fee from links in this email.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WellCovered, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of WellCovered shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. Claims qualifying for small claims court may be brought there instead.

13. Age Restriction

WellCovered is intended for users 18 years of age or older. By using our service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or use the service in a way that could harm WellCovered or other users. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of WellCovered after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
